He offers tele-healthcare to individuals and groups who find themselves struggling with emotional and behavioral concerns.  Dr. Small specializes in working with emerging adults through the lifespan, with a focus on specific life stressors that often characterize specific age or life stages (e.g., college transitions, becoming a new parent, romantic and social relationship difficulties) in addition to challenges characterized by ADHD, anxiety, and adjustment concerns.

Dr. Small earned his MA in Psychology and Education from Columbia University and completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University.  Throughout his top-tier training, Dr. Small specialized in providing evidence-based therapy modalities including CBT, interpersonal therapy, behavioral, and exposure-based therapies.  Dr. Small worked with children, families, and adults in a multitude of clinical settings.  He has published research on socio-developmental outcomes among affluent youth, and parenting practices that support family resilience. He completed his APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of New Hampshire, where he further trained in providing both short- and long-term therapy during sensitive life stages.
